Candy ATCs

Made some ATCs for a swap on InspireSwapChat.  Favorite candy was the theme.  I made 2...Hershey kisses and M&Ms.
I used the Cuttlebug embossing folders and scalloped oval dies from Spellbinders.  The chocolate drop is a Quickutz die.  I wrapped one with aluminum foil and added a little piece of vellum for the tab.
This M&M atc is using images from Stampitcrazy.  I stamped on white and colored in with watercolor pencils for the background.  Used different watercolors for the M&Ms on front.  Again, Spellbinders scalloped oval die and Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder.

This one is for favorite beverage...COFFEE!!!!  Is there any other!?  The background is a stamp from RubberStampAve. The sentiments are from RiverCityRubberWorks.  I believe the coffee cup came from there, too.

An Initial ATC with a twist for a swap on Inspireswapchat.  Had to add things that begin with the letter...in this case "K".  Working on one for the letter "W"

Bringing in the New Year

Well...it's been a while hasn't it :)  I have been VERY busy, though.  To date I've made:

48 6x6 recipe cards
60 inchies (or, as some call them, stubbies)
20 ATCs
several cards
6 tags, and
10 wedding invitations

These tags were for a challenge at ScrapbookingFun.  Each had a specific set of elements and/or media to use.

1. a tag using a pocket to hold another tag or journaling spot:

2.  using the color blue and a button

3.  monochromatic...using 3 shades...I used a Tim Holtz mask (compass)

4.  red, white and black only

5. stictching (faux or real) and a button

6. using at least 3 different patterned papers...I used 5 different patterns

Christmas Garland - sort of

I was in a swap where each in a group of six made these large cs ornaments. (I made the gingerbread man). They were originally meant to be made into a garland like you would put across a fireplave mantel but I didn't have any place like that. So...I hung them from ribbons and tied scrap pieces of fibers and ribbons I had, then added pics of all five of my grand daughters (don't have ANY grandsons...yet).

Twinkling H2Os

I've been using my Twinkling H2Os these past few days and have fallen in love with them all over again!  They are just so AWEsome!!!  I've made a Christmas card and a fairy ATC. For the card, I used CB embossing folder (Script) and the die/enbossing folder Christmas ornament.  The Twinkling H2Os I used were Autumn Skies, Fern and Sunburst.

ATC booklet

I found a site that has some really great tutorials and one of them was for this little mini ATC book/holder! It's called Go Make Something.  I had been in several ATC recipe swaps and had nowhere to put them...until I ran across this place!  I adjusted some of the measurements a little bit until I found a size that works for me.  The cards can be placed in the front and back of the folded insert and can be removed or switched around.

Christmas Gifts

My dh brought home some paint cans made of plastic!  I found it was just the thing I needed for packing the gifts for my grand daughters.  I altered them both witht the same patterned paper just different colors.  I used Sizzix dies Flower Charms and craft foam with alphabet dies.
